History made today as Honorable Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Aisha Ahman Pategi hosted staff of the ministry to a first ever end of the year get-together.
The program started with opening remarks by the Ministry Director of PFS, Alhaji Musa Jibril Kanike. He appreciated the Honorable Commissioner’s zeal towards better Kwara and her mission to elevate the ministry to the next level.
He further prayed for Alhaji Ahman Pategi – the father of the Honorable Commissioner who once held the same position in the ministry, stating that history has truly repeated itself today. The entire staff thereby reiterated their absolute support and commitment towards ensuring positive results at the ministry.
In her remarks, Hon. Aisha Ahman Pategi appreciated the staff of the ministry, stating that she had found the ministry as another home deserving of focus and commitment. “My mission for the ministry is to serve and align with the vision and mission of H.E Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to develop Kwara into a state that will compete on the world stage.
She further advised everyone to be innovative, think outside the box, and focus on service to humanity. She assured them of capacity building, training and retraining to get the best impact. At the end she said “It’s end of the year, let’s merry, break the ice and have fun”
In the closing remark Mr Olohunmako said “since my 35 years in service, no Commissioner has ever hosted us to an end of the year get-together like Hon. Aisha Ahman Patigi did Monday”.
